2 Months in a Japanese Hospital – OUR STORY!


 

I can’t remember exactly what I was doing when it happened but I can remember so vividly the way I felt when I heard a huge crash sound and Adam call out in pain as he fell to the ground.

I had just arrived back in Japan the day before after visiting my family in New Zealand and I still believe it was fate that brought me home in time to be by Adam’s side. (more…)

My Beautiful Brown Skin


I haven’t always loved the skin I’m in…

When I first moved to New Zealand I was excited to arrive in my mum’s homeland and learn about the half of me that was so completely foreign and exotic. Growing up on a small tropical island called Penang (part of Malaysia) and being brown was normal, and it was my caucasian mother who stuck out like a sore thumb everywhere we went. My BEST Skin Ever!


My mum always used to teach me that beauty comes from within, that no amount of makeup or lotions and potions could disguise or hide an ugly heart.

Mum is living proof that a beautiful, kind, and generous heart is the best anti-ageing secret of all.

I like to think I make a conscious effort to be a good person but I know I will never reach Mother Teresa Saint status like my mum so I need a little bit of extra help achieving my full “inner glow” potential. (more…)
